Crochet Kit - Amber Afghan

SKU: B71548

Have some fun building a 9-color palette to make the Amber Afghan, a super cozy and oversized couch blanket that was made for fall movie nights. Worked on the bias, this chunky blanket will have you saying “One more row” until the final bind off. Once you’re done stitching, use the leftovers to add fringe on each edge of your blanket for a truly unique piece.

*Limit 1 FREE Hue + Me Drawstring Bag per order, while supplies last.

Beautiful blanket

I have never really Tunisian crocheted anything but have been crocheting since I was 7. I saw this blanket and the colors and knew I had to have it. Took me about 3 days to finish. I also was not sure (no offense to anyone) I liked the idea of the pattern size of blanket. So I decided to go wider. I aimed for a 50x60 throw size. I did not realize I was pulling the carried up yarn "too tight" as I felt it was loose until the blanket was completely finished and I spread it out to look at it. I also used the longest cable I had at 60 and wad glad I did. I have to still attach fringe and hopefully after that nobody will see the mis-shape I have created. It's still very beautiful. The yarn was sheddy. I've used hue & me before so I was surprised I was constantly covered in yarn hair. Since my rows are different I kept insync with pattern and ended with b instead of a. Thank you toni for making this pattern so easy that even a newbie with no experience or knowledge to the proper terminology can follow and have a great finished homemade beautiful blanket. My kit also arrived within a week.

My order took a long time to even ship and when it finally did I did not get a notice, the kit is lovely, Lion Brand not so much.

Hello Deborah - our apologies for the lack of shipping notice! We had a glitch with the systems that send those messages, but happily it's now been fixed.
