I really enjoyed making this bag; the pattern is easy to understand, suitable for a beginner crocheter, and the result is a large, strong and sturdy bag. It’s perfect for my daily visit to the Panadería in Spain. The yarn makes a neat stitch definition and the rope effect design is very attractive. I had enough yarn leftover to make an interior pocket for my phone and purse. I will be ordering more yarn to make it again for gifting.
As usual, Alex T. has designed a great bag: roomy, stylish and straightforward. The pattern is clear, though I had to keep recounting rounds to make sure I didn’t get the rope trim on the inside! There was half a skein leftover, so I didn’t have problems with too little yarn.
I’ll make this bag again. This one is a gift.
I love this new tote bag! I crocheted 2 already and will start a third soon. I will defiantly be making these in many different colors and giving to family and friends as gifts. The size is great pattern was fairly easy and I love the simplicity of the look, beautiful. The only problem I had was so far both times I ran out of yarn with a row and a half to go the first time and a half a row the second. Don’t know if it’s me or the amount of skeins needed?

This pattern is super easy to follow and complete. The size is just perfect and the stitches make for a fantastic pattern that does not require a lining for everyday use unless you want to!
I love this design. It is working up nicely. I love all of Alexandra's designs, thank you for carrying her designs and her yarn line. Thanks for offering such nice kits at reasonable prices.
A large, very sturdy tote. I am now on my fifth tote, with another one waiting. I do find that the amount of yarn is figured very, very closely. One I had leftover, but the others were close. One I shortened the straps a little...it was a good idea. I would not have had enough yarn. Eventually, I will do one for myself.
