Pattern Designer Info
Jennifer Renaud is a self-taught crafter, of a variety of different crafts and mediums. Her latest passion has been crocheting! Just over a year ago, we moved up to God's country where the winters can be really long. I needed something to do to pass the time and keep me warm, crocheting was just that "thing"! I found that making blankets for wedding gifts, also helped to keep me warm during the day.

Optimistic on the pattern

I have had to modify the pattern as one stop says to end on a certain row but if ending on it and starting the new row would make for a weird RS stitch.
Also I would recommend changing hook size on the white sections as it seems to crochet tighter and it pulls the blanket in compared to the coloured section. If I were to do this pattern again I would change hook sizes between the sections.

Mixed thoughts

I really like this pattern but didn’t love the choice of yarn for this kit. Also, the kit came with way too much of the white color and not enough of the colored yarn. That was disappointing.
