Challenging but I Still Love It

I just started crocheting in the past year. I found reading the pattern a bit challenging. I also was 1.5 inches off gauge. I went up a size in hooks, but I'm still nowhere close to gauge. I am going to add a row of squares. All that said, once I figured out how to do each round, I absolutely love it. I can't wait to see it done.
