I am a newbie to crocheting and was looking for a pattern that was easy to follow and one using the basic
stitches that I knew... and I found it with Endless Cardi by Mama in a Stitch!!!!! This pattern is fantastic and so easy to follow AND I was able to finish it in 3 days. I was blown away that this pattern was so easy to follow and it looked so gorgeous and fantastic when completed! I would recommend this to "new to crocheting" people to try this out.... I ordered the Lion Brand kit and that arrived promptly and that also impressed me!!!! Take a look at the pattern and fall in love for one easy pattern for a beginner!
Jessica is probably the main crochet designer that I follow. I have a ton of her patterns. Her patterns are easy to follow and enjoyable to do. I get so excited when she comes out with a new pattern!!
I haven't started it yet, but based on the skeins I have received it is not going to turn out looking like the one in the picture. Also, when I start with the Pixie it doesn't tell me if I use just the one skein, or also use part of the second skein of Pixie. Weight given at approx 500 g - doesn't tell me if that includes the tassels or just the throw.
Hi Moira - your blanket will look a little different depending on which color is first in the cakes of Mandala you received, and whether you start from the inside or outside of the cake, helping you make it uniquely yours! You can use the second cake of Pixie to extend the length of the first half of the blanket, save some for fringe/tassels, or use it later in the blanket, depending on how you want to arrange the colors. The finished blanket weight does not include the tassels.
Awesome pattern and wool. Had a question about the pattern for Jessica but she hasn’t gotten back to me. Totally love the way the cardigan is coming!

My first Mama in a Stitch pattern and I love it. Have already ordered more and I haven't finished this one. One thing I think could be an improvement in these beginner-easy patterns would be a suggested cast on and bind off stitch.
Love the design. I use these to keep track of my knitting projects and yarn used, etc. They are the perfect size for this purpose. I also track watch notes on these and keep right with the appropriate swatch.
