Pattern Marketplace FAQs
How do I create a vendor account?
Go to the vendor sign up page and fill out the form. Look out for a welcome email; if you don’t see it, be sure to check your spam folder. Tip: use your social media handle as your business name for recognizability!
How do I update my profile?
Once you are logged into the marketplace, you can navigate to the PROFILE → MY ACCOUNT to change your business name or password. To change your business email which customers will use to contact you, please email us at [email protected] and we'll get that updated for you.
How do I get paid?
Once you are logged into the marketplace, be sure to navigate to PROFILE → PAYMENT DETAILS to associate a PayPal account with your profile. This is the PayPal account where your payouts will be sent. You will not be allowed to submit a pattern until this is done. The LBY Pattern Marketplace sends payouts every Monday via PayPal; each sale you make will be paid the following Monday.
My payment is less than the full amount I made!
Lion Brand® takes a 15% commission for all patterns. You'll receive 85% of the value of each pattern sold – this does not include yarn or accessories that may be sold with the pattern.
How do I start selling a pattern?

I need to change something on one of my patterns (pricing, PDF, etc). What do I do?
For security purposes, we cannot allow vendors to change a pattern's information after it's submitted. To request a change, please contact our Pattern Marketplace team at [email protected] and we’ll change it for you!
I no longer wish to sell my patterns on the Pattern Marketplace. How do I delete my account?
We're sorry to see you go! Please email our team at [email protected] to begin the deletion process. We'll deactivate all your patterns to prevent future sales and allow any pending payouts to fully process. Once that's complete, we'll delete your account and remove your patterns from our database.
