Knitted Knockers is a nonprofit that provides free, handmade breast prostheses to people who have had a mastectomy or other breast surgery.
Volunteers knit and crochet soft, lightweight alternatives to traditional prostheses, giving recipients another choice for everyday comfort. We support their mission because we believe that the care makers put into every stitch can make a meaningful difference for someone else.
Want to make one? Coboo has been tested and approved by Knitted Knockers for their prosthesis patterns. Follow the organization’s current instructions and approved yarn guidance when making knockers for distribution.
