Diffucult pattern for me to folliw

I have crocheted a few things including tops but still consider myself a beginning crocheter or level 2 but im my opinion this pattern is written very poorly for beginners and/or has errors in it. I did request help ffom Lion Brand but i still struggled in many sections to get correct stitch count so it has taken me too long to work up

Yarn is nice and the photos make the cape look nice, but I think the pattern was typed up our of order.
