I got dolomite (white), tree agate (grey) and jasper (brown). I love them all -- but I would say that the sparkle is the most subtle with the dolomite. Still, the yarn has a great selection of colors and I like the feel. I personally love working with chainnette yarns so that's a bonus too.

Beautiful colors

This was the first time using this yarn. Initially it felt kind of rough which worried me how it would feel to crochet a cocoon. It turned out really nice.

Elegant Sparkle but a Bit Rough

Love this yarn for trims, borders, handbags or for garments that will not be worn next to the skin (a bit scratchy). Would make excellent clutches or evening bags, or for a shawl. I intend to try combining this yarn with a softer yarn when crocheting garments. Beautiful jewel tones with just the right amount of sparkle without appearing gaudy. I chose zircon (gorgeous!), malachite, star ruby and umbalite colors. The "star ruby" is a close to an aubergine or a true purple-red star ruby in color; umbalite is more of a deep plum color. [Photo features "Star Ruby" color and is a bit more sparkly than is shown in photo].
