Fleece Sherpa yarn

It is hard to knit shaggy yarn; I am plodding. I won't order that kind of yarn.

Chunky soft!

This yarn will be interesting to work with as you can't see your stitches, though you can feel them. Love the soft, coziness of it and look forward to making the Chunky Sherpa Coat.

Testing the fluff!

I ordered a single skein of this to try it out because I'd really like to have a fluffy sherpa type sweater but often the store bought ones I've seen are the cheap icky sherpa that loves to snag on any bit of dry and cracked skin on my hands or arms and is very much NOT comfortable. First touch was wonderful, my hands were dry and while there was a TINY bit of snagging around the nails where my skin is often the worst, it wasn't off-putting at all. I ended up crocheting two swatches, one with a 15mm hook, one with a 16mm hook to see the diffrence in size and drape as well as to tie them off and throw them through a wash and dry per label instructions to see how the texture held up. It was just as soft and non-snaggy as before washing! Also it was suprisingly easy to work with even if I needed to physically feel for each stitch and it was easy to lose count of what row I was on as I was more focused on counting each stitch. Also it frogged suprisingly well too as I was able to frog and re-crochet several times before I bound off the first swatch and moved on to the other hook. Swatch with green hook is my 15mm hook that I've had for a while, it's either Clover or Lion Brand, white hook is the 16mm Susan Bates I picked up recently to test with this yarn.

Perfect for my project!

This yarn is one of the easier fuzzy yarns I've worked with. I pair with Bernat blanket to give it some extra bulk, and pair with eyelash yarn for a good contrast. I make NSFW plush covered jars, and the moss green is the perfect color. You can't necessarily tell from the photos, but the moss green is slightly variegated.

Love the yarn!!

This yarn is so soft and easy to work with. I'm still working on the Polar Puff cardigan. Easy pattern, grateful for the video tho. I thought I had a couple things wrong and was reassured with the video.

VERY SQUISHY

I crochet a TON of loveys and I loved using this yarn on my snail shells! It’s a lot different than what I am used to so obviously it will be hard to work with. I love the actual colors of these yarns! Highly recommend!
