Wool-Ease® Aire Yarn

SKU: 644-173A

$8.99

Wool-Ease Aire brings a new kind of softness to the super bulky category. Spun with an innovative air-blown technique, this lofty blend of acrylic, wool, and polyester feels incredibly light; more cloud than yarn. It’s the kind of material that invites oversized stitches without any heaviness, making it ideal for chunky scarves, textured wraps, or cozy throws. Its delicate loft can demand care while stitching, but the luxurious finish makes every moment worth it. If you're searching for a yarn for knitting or crocheting that offers warmth without the weight, this one’s made for you. The palette is modern and comforting, the texture is dreamy, and the results? Always soft, always snuggle-ready.

Soft and knobbly

If wanted to try this yarn since I felt it in a Joann’s store (😞). It is soft and makes a nice knobbly surface when crocheted, almost like a broken in sweater. It’s relatively easy to crochet with by “feel”, but I will heartily warn against trying to frog it. That’s a no go!
I’ve subbed colors on the log cabin blanket and love the orange and sage shades since this is for a teenage grandson. It makes a light weight but warm covering and I’m very pleased with both the look and feel of wool ease aire yarn.

The worst "yarn" (It's not yarn)

I love LBY, until this purchase, every style and category of yarn has been fun to work with. This yarn cannot be considered yarn it's two wrapped strings with fuz jammed between them. It makes working with it awful! I was unable to see where my stitches were going. The pictures in the pattern that called for it looked totally different so I am unsure if this is a quality issue or design issue, but I will never buy this yarn again.

So soft and so pretty!!

I really enjoyed experimenting with this yarn! It was hard for me to use making rows at first so I tried something else and it makes the coolest granny squares! Once you get used to it it’s really easy! I used the color purple haze.

Beautiful!

Beautiful color and I can’t wait to make my sweater! What a perfect name ! It feels and looks like AIRE, or cotton candy!

Great!!

This is only slightly hard to work with in the beginning but once you get the hang of it, it works up beautifully and is so soft. I’m giving it 4 stars because the “fluffiness” of the yarn was slightly inconsistent especially with different colors so keep that in mind. But I could have just gotten a weird batch. But aside from that I loved this yarn and I would definitely use it again!

Wish I could get my money back! Simply unusable.
