Crochet Temperature Blanket 2024

SKU: M23290

Join us in crocheting a temperature blanket during 2024! Keep up and share with fellow crafters using the hashtag #LBY2024TempBlanket on Instagram.

Have you heard of temperature blankets? They’re a great way to make memories and document your year in yarn! Every day for a year you will crochet 1 row using the color that corresponds to the day’s high temperature in your area. This fun project is beginner friendly and uses only single crochet stitches! We’ve selected colors, paired them with a temperature range (see main image), and provided the suggested yarn amounts below. Feel free to alter your colors and select more of the colors that correspond with your area’s climate. When crocheting at the recommended gauge each ball of Basic Stitch Anti Microbial Yarn will give you approximately 12 days of rows in that temperature range. For example, 1 ball of Lilac stitches up into 12 days of the temperature range 44 – 54 degrees F.

Amazing! So much fun!

This is my first time ever doing a temperature blanket. 25 days into the year - I love it! The yarn is also really great to work with and I love the colors. Already excited to see how this looks as time goes on!

great kit

I don't usually order kits but I was drawn in by the colors in this one. It was great to get it coordinated and so well put together. I only wish there had been at color change for the purple. I am not a purple person.
