Cover Story™ 300g Yarn

I was so anxious to try this Cover Story yarn, I dropped the project I was working on to give it a quick try. Yes, Cover Story is super soft and it will be a joy to work with because of that alone. The colors (I got Emerald, Pearl, and the variegated Peppermints) are rich and vibrant and what I consider to be “true” Christmas colors! Yay! It flowed through my fingers easily, but the stitches were very hard to see. As I said, this (and chenille in general) may not be a yarn for me to use regularly. I will use this for the planned Christmas throw and would definitely consider it for a plush Amigurumi. I tried frogging it multiple times and was thrilled to see that it didn’t shed! I did go slowly when frogging, which may have helped. Can definitely recommend Color Story.
