Cover Story is the super bulky (CYC 6) chenille that you’ve been looking for. It comes in a range of sophisticated neutrals and multi-colors. Enjoy its rich, velvety texture as you create plush afghans and cozy accessories. This yarn works up fast, and with plenty of yardage in each 1000g cake – enough to knit a 48" x 52" blankie! – you’ll have fewer ends to weave in after stitching your projects. 100% polyester plus machine wash and dry makes Cover Story all-ages friendly.

Perfect for Blankets

I love using this yarn for crocheting blankets. I have brought it several times now in different colors. I can't wait to get more to start a new project.

I love this yarn SO much!!

I wanted to crochet a full blanket for my daughter. This yarn is perfect! Soft, nice bulk so it worked up quickly but not too heavy. I love the huge cakes!! The colors are fun and vibrant. I will definitely use this yarn again.

Just the right amount

Love this yarn. The way it comes as a cake is perfect. I didn't have to take it apart and rewind it to use it. It made the perfect size blanket. The pattern they have for it is so simple and easy and it is just beautiful. Am definitely going to buy more.

Knots

I love the feel of the yarn. I knitted a very nice blanket for the couch. Unfortunately, there were knots that were randomly in the skein. That is frustrating. I didn’t take the knots apart because I was worried that my knots would not stay together.

Hi Julie - for a yarn ball the size of Cover Story we typically allow up to 4 knots per ball before it's considered a quality control issue. If you come across more than that, please email us at support@email.lionbrand.com. We do recommend cutting out or untying any knots and treating the ends as if you're joining a new ball of yarn, because knots may come undone in washing or use.
