A bit disappointed

I just started using this yard finally and was a bit disappointed to see knots on my white yarn. The orange one did not have any knots but this one has knots.

Love the yarn

Good yarn the scarf I made with both colors turned out great. The scarf I made has hearts in it. It's for my daughter in law. She picked the colors that I used.

Wonderful cotton yarn

I found a pattern that recommended cotton yarn. In the past I have not liked using cotton yarn- it splits and tangles and is stiff. Then I found 24/7 by Lion Brand. It is soft. It is easy to work with. It doesn’t split or fray. I absolutely loved working with it. And the colors are so vibrant and pretty. I will definitely use again. I have to find some more projects requiring cotton yarn. I used it to make a granny square sweater and beret for my dog. Stitch definition is also great. I loved this yarn.

Great yarn, great deal

This yarn is really great. It could be a little softer I think, but I love the price and the fact that it comes in so many colors. I made my son, who is very picky about the “scratchiness” of fibers, a dragon eye pillow cover with it and he loves it. So it passes the test as far as I'm concerned.

I've been crocheting for several years now, but for some reason I've never tried mercanized cotton. This has been wonderful to work with. I'm obsessed with the stitch definition, and will definitely be purchasing again.

Love this yarn for Amigurumi. The chained construction eliminates splitting for inexperienced crocheters. The cotton feels smooth & soft on fingers when crocheting, but creates a stiff construction for display-type Amigurumi. Although its listed as a worsted weight (4), its thinner than typical worsted yarns (like woobkes easy peasy). I'd recommed for beginners looking to move towards more detailed project with thinner yarns, but hesitant to try a DK or sports weight. It holds itself well when pulling tight after each stitch but doesnt damage the yarn if you need to frog a few rounds. The stitches are really easy to see which is good for learning to crochet, but it will show mistakes easily (also good for learning unless you don't notice right away). No pilling or loose threads either. Would love if this was more readily available (in more colors) in the US.

Photo shows WIP, green yarn is Lion 24/7 Cotton. Purple is random no-name yarn from a kit. You can see the difference in stitch definition & how the (purple) is starting to pill.

I intentionally used the 'pilly' yarn to differentiate the 'clothes' from the 'doll'. "Green Color Super-Friend" is supposed to have "tattery" shorts. It really highlights the huge difference between the Lion 24/7 Cotton & the no-name typical yarn.
