ZZ Twist, is a lightweight CYC 4 premium acrylic, that is spun with a ‘’Z’’ twist: the same direction as the yarn wraps around a crocheter’s hook. Lauded by bloggers and designers, ‘’Z twist’’ yarns allow crocheters ease of use, tighter stitches and great stitch definition. No worries knitters: ZZ Twist is not just for crocheters: the excellent drape and modern construction will have stitchers creating lightweight shawls, garment sand blankets no matter what tool they use.

As an avid crafter, I am always experimenting with various yarns. When I found zz twist last year during the pandemic, I couldn't put it down - literally. Would love to know why it was discontinued and wish you'd bring it back.

I need zz twist to make more sweaters. What is an appropriate substitute for patterns with this yarn?

Hello Jody - while we don't currently have any other z-twist yarns, as a substitute for ZZ Twist we would suggest Mandala Ombre or Ice Cream Cotton Blend.

Love this yarn

Bought it when they discontinued it and wish I would have purchased much more. Colors are vibrant and rich and texture absolutely lovely to work with. Fingers crossed they bring it back.

Please bring ZZ Twist and Beautiful You yarns back. I love them for summer garments and I love the look and feel of crocheted garments with these yarns. It’s such a different look than any other yarns out there - at least that I’ve found. This makes me sad that they’re gone. 😭

I am so disappointed to learn ZZ has been discontinued. Will it be replaced by a new Z twist product (or better yet, a product line consisting of twist yarns of different weights)?

Hello JoJo - at this time there are no plans to introduce another Z-twist yarn, but you never know what the future may bring!
