I love getting a bit of wooly goodness with deluxe acrylic. To jazz my project up a notch I've added a 100% alpaca lace for added warmth. I'm not a fan of always having to use expensive yarns. Wool Ease has a lovely texture, enjoyable to work with and comes in beautiful colors at an affordable price. Than you Lion Brand. You Roar! Pictured yarns : Lion Brand Wool Ease.
I’ve been a yarn snob for quite a few years. Recently I had reason to use LB product that is 30% wool.
I was surprised with the hand feel while knitting and the stitch definition.
The color is consistent through out the 5 skeins I ordered.
I’ve not finished my project so I have no feedback on how it goes through a wash cycle.
I’d buy this again!
My order was delivered in a timely manner and is exactly as ordered. My first time using this Wool Ease snd it will not be my last. Perfect for the Irish knit Afghan I am making for my granddaughter- bonus that it will be washable!!!
I got this yarn for a project I wasn’t too sure about, so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money. Turns out, I love it! Not sure how I would feel about using it for a garment, but for decor, it is great. Everything except the green is Wool Ease.
I used this to knit a blanket between classes, soft and strong
One of my favorite Lion Brand yarns, Wool Ease is a fantastic blend of quality, practicality, and pleasure. Quality which holds up to years of use for garments and household projects which will look nice and hold their shape for years. The practicality of an acrylic/wool blend which provides a perfect balance of softness and structure for hard-working and hard-wearing items. Pleasure in beautiful pieces which last and look great after all the time and effort of making them. My personal favorite are the heathered colors which lend themselves to a gorgeous, heirloom look which still stays within my budget!
