Great material

I made a sweater with this. The skeins are just big enough that you don’t have a ton of connections in the finished piece. I didn’t have a single knot or any flaws in the yarn, and it’s soft and comfortable to wear

The proper "bluebonnet" blue

I'm knitting the Big B end National Park hat from Nancy Bates' book, "Knitting the National Parks. I researched and ordered a lot of yarns from different companies to match all the colors in the pattern, and Wool Ease Recycled Royal Blue is just right to embroider the bluebonnets that are iconic in Texas and at this park. As you can see from the picture, I have only gotten two and a half flowers embroidered, but they look fine to me and the yarn is easy to work with.

Love this yarn!!

Great yarn, nice and soft, doesn't split easily. I also love that it's made from recycled product. Crocheted it double and it looks great! :)

Confusing yarn

I’ll start by saying the yarn itself is not bad. It’s exactly what you would expect in terms of fiber quality. The issue is in calling this yarn a worsted weight. I measured it at 14 wpi and I think it would be better labeled as a DK weight yarn. It’s definitely not the same thickness as the original WoolEase yarn.
