I've used Woolease before but just discovered Fair Isle. Disappointed no more info about how to decide about patterns and number of stitches for pattern reveal.
Decided to just try a stockinette shawl and after some frustration about how any pattern might be appearing it became very cool, should be a cry striking shawl but would like more help with pattern options.
Great yarn! Even if you have to do a lot of frogging, like me.
I bought Wool Ease fair Isle in thistle/orchid while planning to learn color work. I am using the pattern I eventually want to make but thought it would be fun to actually have a sweater to give away that looks like a fair isle sweater. I am very happy with how it turned out and love the feel of the yarn while knitting. The self patterning yarn was a little difficult to anticipate and making matching sleeves was a challenge that in the future I would solve by unraveling two balls to the identify the same color changes and coordinate that way.
Love this yarn. I am doing a wrap and the colors are beautiful. I can't wait to try some of the other colors.
Bed linen. You want to make some pillowcases in combination with a quilt I have or a small blanket
This is super soft and a lot of fun Jeanette with. I’ve been using it for slippers and beanies. No.
