Did not know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! Love the color selection! And it sooo soft! Absolutely dreamy!!!

Slippery and prone to splitting

I made the mistake of starting out with metal needles. The yarn is very silky and slid all over the needles, plus the needle point kept splitting the yarn. Once I switched to bamboo needles with a much finer point, it was a Lot better to knit with. I am not far enough along in the project to comment on the drape of the yarn.

Warning: “Yarn Barf”!

I would give this yarn all 5 stars, because it feels like silk while working with it and it’s bulky enough to use for larger projects. However: LB isn’t careful enough to wind the skeins so as to be center-feed (like they should be). I spent 2 hours unraveling the knots from the clump that came out when I tried to pull the end piece from the center of the ball! Also: the yarn isn’t twisted very well, and tends to split while you’re working with it – but that’s fairly common for bamboo yarns. Mostly I’m miffed about the time I had to take unraveling, when I could’ve been working on my kit. **PHOOEY**

Bright and beautiful

The colors of this yarn are so bright and pretty. And it’s making my blanket project very soft. It’s a bit splitty but that’s to be expected.

Feels great

Truboo is one of my favorite yarns. It’s smooth and silky. It is versatile and beautiful. Lion Brand provides yarns that I trust are quality and beautiful.
