Great yarn, sad it’s being discontinued

This has been such a gorgeous yarn to work with! Unlike others, I haven’t had much trouble with the yarn splitting, although it is a bit thinner than most worsted weight yarn. But it’s so soft, and the sequins are well-spaced, even with the larger blocks of each color on my project I don’t notice that the end colors don’t have sequins. I’m making a 10-Stitch blanket for my cousin’s impending baby, and the sequins are small enough that I’m not worried about it scratching or itching the baby. I only wish I’d discovered this yarn before they started discontinuing colors, the Dolomites is exactly the kind of blues I was hoping for and I would love to have added Isle of Skye to complete this blanket. I found out the baby is a boy after I started the Santorini purples and now I’m looking for a color to balance it out, but the remaining options just aren’t quite right. I’m really sad about it because this is the first ombré yarn I’ve found that I actually like. Bring back more color options!

Good quality, small sequins

Colour Bali, using 5 mm knitting needles, project was cable knit scarf.

Good quality. Soft and easy to knit. Doesn't split. The colour transition was a bit more abrupt than anticipated (see photos).

Sequins are small and not consistently distributed throughout the entire ball. Good for a bit of sparkle but may not suffice if you are looking for a more substantial glitter accent (see photos).

Such a good deal

Even without it being on cleanrace, this is a larger caker with the price. It's crazy soft and very pretty in design. And the sequins aren't noticable to touch but so cute to add on!

Just a little sparkle!

Not a perfectly consistent yarn, especially at color transitions. Splits easily. Random, tiny sequins give a pretty sparkle. Making a shawl for a gift for someone who wears pink, I think she'll like it.

Very good sequin yarn

Bought this during a big sale and was very pleased with it! It’s quite thin though, despite being called a “4 weight” yarn. However, it’s very soft and easy to work with. My only recommendation is not to use a yarn winder with this as I have noticed it can cause the sequins to become unwoven when I turned it into my own cake. They unwrap fairly easily on their own without needing to re-cake them. Overall, very pleased with this yarn.
