Sesame Street™ Fuzzy Friends Yarn
SKU: 3013-109AQ
This is the best furry yarn I have worked with! It is so luxurious and plush. I made an adult hat with one skein and a couple pulls of another skein to finish it.
It worked up quickly and fairly easily. Your thumb with the working strand will naturally feel for the next stitch.
The colors are rich and vibrant. Will definitely purchase again!!
Had fun this yarn over winter break and made of couple of sweater projects. Pretty big boy but they were fast projects. Definitely warm. Only drawback with working with is be prepared to vacuum.
This yarn is perfect for adding a little bit of pizzazz to your fiber garments!
Add it to your bordering, cuffs, or even streaks in the middle of your project and it will elevate it aesthetically!
I had to “pluck” the yarn to fluff it up after adding another yarn into it but it held up and very few strands actually came off, so it’s very resilient.
Check out my channel for the tutorial on how to make this cowl and matching gloves!
I used this to make a fluffy knitted rug? blanket? for my Peke! She actually carries it around w/her. I made it about 2'x2' it seems to be her security blanket. I also use it on my bed for her. I've now used this in small banners to add some depth to them. I sell these at the local farmers markets and they seem to be a hit w/the added depth. I may make a fluffy dog coat for my Peke out of some of what I got? That's next on my agenda~ it is a bit tricky to knit with but after you get the hang of it? It does goes quite smoothly. Keep at it and it gets Easier! I keep counting the stitches on each row to be sure I didn't drop one in error. I just knit a bit slower w/this yarn. I even saw a jacket to make w/it? I may try that too........I wish they'd sell some more neutral colors.
It is super soft! I made cookie monster round pillow (18") with 3 balls.
Bulky eyelash yarn is texturally marvelous for knitting wooly creatures like goats and sheep.
It feels good on the hands, but the stretchiness of it, and the way it needs to be pulled at
for binding off can make it hard on older hands like mine. Still, it is very much worth it
because the end product is sensational.
