While working with Scarfie, you’ll see a unique self-striping ombré effect emerge, with gradual shading from one color to the next. I made a blanket using Scarfie and it came out very nicely. The yarn is very soft and the colors are consistent throughout the skeins. For example: I bought blue/silver, cream/silver, and pink/silver, and all the sivers were the same. There were no knots in the skeins. It was a little challenging to find the end when I was trying to do center pull, but that may have been user error. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 is because it was hard for me to crochet with it because it's a bulky weight - it hurts my arthritic hands. This is definitely not Lionbrand, it's me, but I thought I'd share for other sufferers.
I love the feel of this yarn! The variegated design looks great as well. I make these throws for Meals on Wheels, and for various cancer centers to have during chemo. This one is comfy!
I have made one hat and plan to make another with a matching cowl. The yarn knits up well and is easy to work with. I'm looking forward to my next project with scarfie. I love how well the colors blend together, perfect for the recipients of the hats and cowl.
First time to crochet a scarf! The yarn is so soft! My sister absolutely loves her ombré infinity scarf!💙🤍
This yarn works up so nicely and the ombré is just beautiful!
I loved how it created beautiful stripes and was soft to touch. The large skeins were great also.
