First time using scarfie yarn making the Flip Side throw ( Rohn Strong) and it’s a little like crocheting with cotton candy, but the results are lovely. This will be a beautiful light throw perfect for coolish days. The color pictured is Tiger Lily, a soothing teal, peach and lilac combination.
I really enjoyed this yarn. It is very delicate, so I did crochet a little slower, so that it wouldn't knott up on me or tear. I have not finished the blanket yet, but I have received plenty of compliments on this specific yarn. The colors are so fun and pretty.
This yarn is so soft and just the right amount of fuzziness. I loved making this pattern with it. The two skeins held double were enough to make a wrap for myself and I made a smaller one for my granddaughter and have yarn left over. This pattern was easy to follow and worked up quickly.
I purchased the Magnus Cardigan kit which included Scarfie lite and Wool Ease.
Scarfie Lite - Love the softness, drape and color changes of this yarn. I used the color way SunsetIf you have't used this type of yarn before, the fuzziness and halo can be tricky to work with. It can make it difficult to maintain tension and is definitely challenging to frog. I love the combination of Scarfie Lite and Wool Ease for this pattern. I never would have thought to combine these two yarns.
Magnus Cardigan pattern - very straightforward, videos provide additional instruction. There are a LOT of ends to weave in with this one. My regular size is M. I wanted an oversized fit so I made the XL. I wish I had sized up even more to give that really comfy fit. I recommend sizing up well beyond your normal size with this pattern.
I love this super fuzzy and super soft yarn. My first time using it and it won’t be my last.
