I absolutely love this yarn

I’ve always wanted to try something from the Lionbrand sustainable stitching line. My mom had asked me to make her a snood in the pattern of the waffle stitch which worked out perfectly seeing that I wanted to give this yarn a try.

Let me tell you. I absolutely love this yarn. It’s so soft and I love that it’s made of 100% recycled polyester which keeps the polyester out of our landfill.

Thank you so much Lionbrand for making this beautiful environmentally friendly yarn.

I can’t wait to try this again.

Great for winter hats!

I sell hand knitted and crocheted hats at a local store in the winter and this yarn is perfect for making the super bulky ones that are so popular. The skeins are really large so I can usually get at least 3 hats from one skein. Love them!

Good yarn for baskets

I like this yarn for making crochet baskets. I used the Spike Stitch Basket pattern by Simplymadebyerin. Only thing I didn’t like was that the yarn seemed more fluffy/fury than in the pattern pics. That means there is less of a stitch definition. I do love the fact that it is made from recycled fibers!

Love This Yarn!

Love how the colors blend well. I needed to finish a project and it's completed for my scarf with matching fingerless gloves.

Enjoying this recycled polyester yarn

I am really enjoying working with this yarn. I have already completed 2 blankets on my knitting loom using it.

Yarn is mostly good with some caveats

Pros: soft gray color selection very inexpensive especially if you buy it at Walmart just over seven dollars per scan. Good yardage for bulky yarn.

Cons: gets fuzzy easily! Not sure about washing

Personal opinion/con made a lovely granny Square starburst pattern blanket 5 x 6 equals 30 squares and it was so so heavy! Didn’t realize how heavy it was gonna be until I was putting all the squares together. Would suggest sticking to 4 x 6 or even 4 x 5 to make a much smaller throw like a lapghan.

Overall, totally worth buying just for the price/value/color selection!
