Easy & Fun to Knit, BUT...

The pattern says 1 ball of Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick is needed. I knit the cowl and my gauge was spot on and I needed about 2/3 of another ball. Maybe there is a difference in ball size? Is that what Bonus Bundle (Art. #641) is indicating? If so, indicating yardage needed would be (more)helpful here.
Four stars because of yarn shortage
Five stars for ease of knitting and finished results.
