I had a few rolls of Mandala in Liger and wanted to try a new pattern, the wheat stitch. I usually do blankets in worsted weight but living in the South, DK weight works better.
Once I started the blanket it worked up so beautifully that I rushed to the Lion Brand website to buy more. I could not be happier. It's soft, drapes well and I'm looking forward to the finished product.
This yarn is beautiful and great to work with. No splitting and very few knots. The knots I have come across were small and didn’t cause any problems. I will buy this yarn again!
I love this yarn!!! It can be used for so many different projects. I’m currently using ‘Centaur’ to crochet a sweater, and Groot for a shawl. The colors are beautiful!
Very happy with this yarn! It makes a lovely ombré stripes effect in my crochet blanket project. The colors are vivid - perfect for my kiddo’s room.
I bought the Unicorn colorway of Mandala Bonus bundle for my second project without knowing what I was going to make. I decided to start the Rhyolite Granny Blanket from the patterns here on LionBrand.com. I love working with this yarn! I have had zero issues with splitting and it has frogged without any snagging or breaking (I had to start over 3 times do to my own mistakes). My only recommendation would be to make it easier to find the center pull start of the yarn cake. The colors in the Mandala collection are amazing, there are so many combinations and the names fit the colors perfectly.
I love the Mandala color ways. Groot is my favorite combination because it looks like a sunset or sunrise. Mandala yarn in general is perfect for all types of projects. I've used it for blankets, winter sets, curtains and toys. The picture is of a curtain. It's gorgeous with morning light behind it.
