I love the hooks. I would appreciate them whole heartedly if they w
were made somewhere other than China.
2 of the 3 hooks came with splinters so bad they were unusable. Once filed down so they were smooth they were pretty nice to use. The hook head goes into stiches very nicely. Pretty good to start with if you're willing to smooth them out a bit
Hello Alex - our apologies for the splinters on the hooks you received! Please email our quality control team at [email protected] so they can make a record of this issue to help prevent it in the future.
I wanted wooden hooks (the wood grain gives them grip) to use with some slippery yarn I bought. They work as expected, rather the texture helps grip the yarn without snagging but - the 4 mm hook has a much shallower curve than the other two sizes, and therefore does not hook the yarn nearly as well. I took off a start for this reason. Otherwise, perfectly good inline/ Susan Bates style hooks!
