Linen Cone Yarn

I love the cone, I can knit a whole front and whole back, sleeves without having to join a new ball. Love the colour called Penny, it looks just like a penny. It is lightweight, great for a light summer top. Only problem when knitting, it splits, so have to really watch every stitch. I think crochet may be better. All in all I am happy with it. I feels great .

This is exactly as advertised, lovely linen yarn. Colour is as depicted in the listing (Petal Pink [9807-S042A]) and behaves as expected for a linen yarn (a bit splitty and hard on the hands). It's also definitely on the thinner side (as stated) so don't expect the average fingering weight. Overall I love the fabric produced. I especially love holding this with silk or cotton, so great for summer garments.

I really enjoy using this yarn for summery garments and sturdy crochet bags. It's a bit of a pain to work with since the plies are not twisted, but the resulting fabric is so worth it that I keep coming back to it!

The quality is very good. I am still swatching for the tee that I want to make. I think the cone is a good value.

I've ordered this item two separate times and I love the colors! It's kind of difficult to crochet with because it splits pretty easily. But it's nothing too terrible, I just have to take my time!

Linen is the best fiber I’ve come across! Knit beautifully with standout stitches. Washes beautifully and blooms into a marvelously soft, drapey fabric. I hope Lionbrand/ Silk City NEVER discontinues this line of the best linen!
