Love this yarn

This yarn is great. I love the color variegation - it makes beautiful crochet pieces like the scarf below. The yarn is really easy to work with and never separates. This is true of all the lion brand yarns I’ve worked with.
Definitely 5 stars .

Impressive blanket

I was very pleased with the colors in the blanket, and happy with how quickly the blanket worked up. I did have concern about some of the thin places in the yarn, and hope it won't create a problem long term with the blanket.

Beautiful but there’s a catch

I love this yarn so much, the colors and sheen are amazing. I suppose however it might not be for everyone because the thickness does vary greatly as you work through it. I started with the recommended hook size and initially ran into sections where a much smaller hook would have seemed better. However I’m now using a skein which is almost entirely way too thick for the recommended hook, making it a bit difficult. Plus, the pattern I’m using (bag o day polychromatic blanket) uses a complimentary color in between rows of shells. I used a worsted weight but of course it doesn’t really work well with this highly variable yarn. Despite this, I will continue with the whole blanket and enjoy the unexpected texture I’m creating.

But lion brand, please please please come out with a solid color yarn that is the same style as this one. It’s gorgeous and I want to make so many things with it in solid colors.

Woodland prismatic throw

The yarn is defective in large areas and has to be cut out and spliced. Enough so that I didn’t have enough skeins to complete my project and it was purchased as a kit.

Hello Debbie - our apologies for the cut pieces in your skein! Please email our quality control team at [email protected] so we can make a record of this issue.

Beautiful colors!

One of my favorite yarns! It has a silky feel and shimmery colors that blend nicely to go with so many things.

Hookedbyrobin moss stitch shawl

This was SUCH a fun project- I’m thrilled with the way it turned out. The shawl has some weight and is soft just like I’d hoped.
