Nice Quick Pattern

I made this pair for my granddaughter. The yarn is nice to work with and knits up quickly. The instructions for the hat are for double pointed needles, size 13, which I didn't have and didn't want to buy but fortunately the pattern is easily adapted to "regular" needles, if you don't mind a back seam. The scarf is rather bulky and curled significantly which was easily fixed by a nice long soak in a fabric softener solution, rolled up flat in thick towels till dry.
