Who isn’t head over heels for a matching set? The Sweet V Skirt is the matching bottom to the oversized – boxy v-neck of the Sweet V Sweater. With a double brim band (that hides an elastic sewn in), this skirt has 2-3” of positive ease in the hip, meaning it skims the handles, and cinches at the waist. With an opening at the side of the leg for walkability and tailored bum shaping so you don’t end up with saggy butt syndrome, this skirt is perfect for those crisp mornings as you head for brunch with your pals. Not sure what size to knit? You’ll want to pick your size based off of your waist measurement.
Please add 3 (3, 3, 3, 4) (4, 4, 5, 5) extra skeins for colors Cream 098D, Pink 101A, Denim 109N, Silver 149B, Olive 174C, Amber 186G, and Terracotta 134S as they may only have 115 yards per skein.
Note: you'll also need 1-1.5” / 2.53.75cm wide elastic for the waistband.
Knit in Stockinette Stitch in the round on US 10/6mm needles 16 sts x 22 rows = 4” x 4”
Knit in rib stitch in the round on US 8/5mm needles (sizes XS-L) 21 sts x 26 rows = 4” x 4”

This skirt was designed with 0-2” / 0-5 cm of positive/neutral ease for the waist, and 2-3” / 5-8 cm of positive ease for the hip/bum. When picking your size, go off your natural waist measurements – where it is the smallest. If you are in between sizes, I would suggest going down.
