Knit Kit - Marion Wrap

SKU: B72068

The Marion Wrap is knit using Color Theory yarn. Despite being a 100% acrylic, this yarn easily blocks out to show the lace patterning. A provisional cast on allows each side of the wrap to be perfectly symmetrical as the repeat extends from the center into a gently scalloped edge. “Resting” wrong side rows make this design move along at a nice pace.

Pattern Designer Info
Hello! I’m Erica, the knit and crochet designer behind 1 More Row Designs. I learned to crochet for an elementary school art project and never stopped turning yarn into new ideas. These days, I’m also a mom to a very creative little girl who loves making things right alongside me. My designs reflect the way I like to craft: approachable enough to relax into, but interesting enough that you won’t get bored. I’m drawn to texture, color, and wearable pieces that keep you happily saying, “just one more row."

Beautiful design

This is a very pretty pattern and the Color Theory yarn is very soft and easy to work with. The pattern does require careful attention to detail. As another reviewer mentioned, the stitches occasionally don't add up. I find it is because I have dropped one of the yarn overs during the purl row.
Also, the pattern has an error. Rows 69-78 should read "work rows 67 and 68 another 5 times" instead of rows 45 and 46.
Overall, I would recommend this kit, it is working up to be a beautiful and soft shawl. Looking forward to wearing it!

Lovely

It's a pretty pattern but every time I get to a certain point the stitches don't add up...I've put it down for now and will try again at a later time.

Decent pattern

It's a pretty shawl, but the instructions could be a little more detailed. Other than that I loved it!
