Knit Kit - Love Line Blanket

SKU: B72723

A deeply meditative knit that grows from the center out, the Love Line Blanket is a soothing, rhythmic project you’ll reach for again and again. The textured border gives it a clean, polished finish while the simple center builds confidence through repetition.
Whether you’re making a baby gift, a cozy throw for the couch, or a statement bedspread, this square knit blanket is as practical as it is beautiful. Made in the round with bulky yarn, it works up surprisingly quickly for such a large piece — no seaming, no fuss.

Pattern Designer Info
My mom taught me to knit, one summer when I was bored on the beach at age 10. From there my love (some would say obsession) of yarn was born and I never stopped stitching. A few years ago I started to dig into the online world of yarn and discovered so many techniques, constructions and concepts I had never heard about before. Slowly I started to move away from following patterns until 2018 when I finally launched my blog Knitting with Chopsticks where I share my easy knitting & crochet patterns for garments, cozy blankets and cherished little makes. My goal is to break down knitting and crochet so they become simple enough for you to create exactly what you want, the way you want it through my patterns, blog, ebooks, courses, the Stitching Squad and summits.

Turned out a lot of fun!

I wasn't sure how to do the original CAST ON. Watched a couple U-Tube videos. Definitely DIFFERENT ways to begin this cast on...like 5 different ways! All called the same thing. So watch a couple videos and do what is easiest for you. Once I started it really was relaxing and fun to do the "big circle" on the needles. BUY ONE MORE SKEIN of yarn tho...I did go buy another because I was about 2 row shorts on cast off. I plan to do again and ADD ONE MORE SKEIN to my future purchase. I have knitted 55 years....I have ":average tension" so it wasn't like I knitted too loosely. JUST BUY ONE MORE SKEIN. You can always make a small hat to match afterwards with left over yarn...which I did and my grandchild LOVED! THANKS GREAT KIT!
