Thought to air dry a bit on low spin before blocking the first of my 4 projects and it wormed. Very disappointed as these were selling items and I don't know what to do with the other 3 finished blankets. I don't like to sell people defective merchandise. Also, as these become quiet heavy once soaked it is very inconvenient to advise washing them by hand (although I am not sure if handwashing would be a solution either). It is very sad not to be able to trust the instruction given by the manufacturer. Picture still does not reflect how ruined the blanket is.
Hello - we're sorry to hear that your blanket got the dreaded worms! You could try soaking the blanket in a machine washer, in a mesh laundry bag, and then using the spin cycle to get most of the water out before laying flat to dry. If you want to fluff it up in the dryer for 5-10 minutes we also advise putting it in a mesh bag so the blanket doesn't get caught on anything inside the machine.
Loved the yarn and the blanket it made the yarn had an odd smell so i gave it a 20 min cool wash with low spin wow what happened it wormed in places now frogging and will try smaller hook 9mm instead of 10mm and perhaps single crochet rather than hdc so so disappointed
I'm almost done making my mom a shrug out of the ice cream Deluxe Cape May and I need to order two more. And you discontinued it. OMG. So what do I do? This stuff makes the best sweaters and shrugs. I am heartbroken.

I bought a bunch on clearance to make small blankets. It's pretty and soft, but the C2C blanket I knitted was way too stretchy and didn't keep shape. Then I washed and dried it per instructions and it wormed out everywhere :( Not sure what to do with the rest of the yarn since I don't want it to do that again.
This yarn has little to no flex. It's hard as can be to knit evenly. I don't like the uneven loops. It looks like I've never knitted before. I'll not buy this again... :(
I knew I was making a mistake by machine washing and drying this yarn...sad face. Wormed out and ruined. Now I am unsure what to do with the other cakes I have. Smaller hook size? Anyone else have this problem?
