i was a little stress

The fabric is loved by little ones. It washes nicely. I know I am tight on stitches..stress makes it worse.....so following all
Instructions mine was still a cute 30x30. .

I just finished my knit blanket and I love it. One issue/question. The yarn had 2 splices in it. Are all the cakes like this? I had to put 2 knots in the middle of my blankie and was slightly disappointed. Anyone else have this issue?
