I have been making blankets with this yarn for more years than I care to count. I have orders for 2 more but I can't get the colors I need. Why can't you produce all the colors that I have depended on and the variety sucks. If I can't get the colors I need I will have to quit crocheting. I am so sad and disappointed. I am going to be 81 in one week and would love to be able to continue doing what I love to do.

I love this yarn!

My cousin got me hooked on this year. I haven't knit for years. But my cousin made me a shawl from this yarn, and I fell in Love with it. It's so soft, warm, and the colours are beautiful! Knitting usually takes me too long to do, and I give up before I'm done. But I gave this pattern, and this wool a try. I made 11 shawls, last fall, in time for Christmas, for gifts, and as "Thank Yous, and Just because" Gifts. I was so happy with the results, and so many were so happy to receive them. But so many colour combinations have disappeared, since I have been making them, and I can't find them again. But having read, some of your comments, to some of the other questions. I'm thinking, if I'm patient enough, maybe some of those colours will turn up again. There are so many other colours, I would like to try. This pattern knits up so quickly, that I have them finished before I have gotten bored/tired! I do hope some of the out of stock colours, will make a return. I still see some of the colours I would like to try, but they are NOT in the Homespun, Thick and Quick, just in the Homespun, and I'm afraid the yarn is not as thick, and won't knit up the same, and thus not have the same finished appearance! Hope you can let me know, if some of the discontinued colours, might make an appearance at some point? Thank You.

I used the ice cream yarn to make a crocheted baby blanket. When I pulled the yarn from the middle of the skein, I encountered large snarl of yarn so I pulled the starting yarn outside. What a mess, worse than the other. It was spun

Hello Phyllis - we're sorry you had trouble finding the end! The best tip for finding the middle end of a ball is to make sure that the outside end is out of the way so it doesn't get pulled through the middle and tangle with the center pull.

Hello Patricia - apologies if the new fiber content isn't to your liking. Unfortunately there may have been changes at the production level that mean the makeup of this yarn had to change, but we will have tried to keep it as similar to the old version as possible.
