After many requests, our heart hot water bottle cover knitting pattern is now available!
Pattern includes several photos showing the steps, final measurements, specific yarn recommendations and information on the rubber bottles needed. The cover is knit in the round. The heart is stitched on afterwards using Duplicate Stitch.
This pattern is made to fit a standard 2 quart (1.9 litre) hot water bottle cover. These can be purchased at most pharmacies, Amazon, etc. If you buy online, make sure to check the size of the bottle before ordering as they do come in smaller sizes. The bottle should measure 31cm x 18cm / 12” x 7”.
This knits up in less than 2 hours and makes a wonderful handmade gift for loved ones, or for yourself.
