The Go for Faux Duo yarn is hard to gauge. I wish the faux yarn and the 4-ply yarn were the same size; then there wouldn't be any see-through with the 4-ply yarn. The 4-ply yarn is a super bulky 6. And the faux fur is a jumbo 7. Both the yarn label and mittens and hat patterns recommend knitting with 13mm needles. I guess if I knit with an 11mm needle for the super bulky 6 yarn, then it will make the jumbo 7 faux yarn too stiff. So I guess that's why 13mm knitting needles were recommended; which comprises the perfect gauges for both types of yarns a little bit. It's a beautiful yarn, though. Very motivating to knit with.

I made one hat and really like it. The yarn is very nice to work with and I would like more patterns for this yarn.
Can't wait to order more to work up more projects. I love Go For Faux and made so many cozy kids hats when it came out and now I can have a more structured hat for myself. I hope this yarn does well and the color selection is expanded!
I love this combination of fluffy and bulky yarn. Easy to work with, made several great crocheted hats and scarves.
