So colorful

I bought this for a fall sweater, and the yarn was perfect. Granted, there were a few places where the yarn was tied together, but it doesn't affect me. I retied them with a more secure knot.
The feel of it is not as soft as some other yarns, but it's definitely not coarse. After working up my project, the yarn stayed flexible and draped very well. I do recommend it.
I'm alternating Evergreen and Imaginary Garden.

Simply Stunning

I was skeptical about this yarn at first since it was my first time working with roving yarn and that the yarn itself seems much thinner than a 4 weight yarn but it hooked up so well! The yarn itself is very comfy both to touch and to work with and the colorways are all stunning. The Full Moon color looks like it has more purple tones on the website but crocheted up with only blue tones throughout the skein.

Wonderful to work with

I am doubling it and making an afghan. It is so soft and warm so far. I would definitely use this yarn for another project.

Beautiful Yarn Despite the Faults

Pros: Colors work up beautiful. Feels like a wool yarn even though it's acrylic. No Splitting. Held up to frogging.
Cons: Quality isn't the greatest. Yarn thickness and how it's spun is about 80% consistent. Super thin in places.

I want to start out saying that I love how my project turned out. I picked Morning Java for a beanie for my dad (he and I both love coffee), and I wasn't disappointed in how it worked up. Love the color gradient! It was easy to work with and had no splitting and no knots, and I was surprised at how much it feels like a wool yarn. At first I thought it might feel too scratchy, but once finished is quite soft and comfortable. The way its spun was the only complaint. While mostly the same thickness, it was very thin in some places, and at one point I made a knot to secure the yarn because it was so thin I was worried it may come apart over time. I was improvising the pattern so I had to frog this three times until I was happy with it, and the yarn held up surprisingly well to the abuse (I just made a point to be gentle with it). I probably wouldn't buy this yarn again due to the inconsistent quality, but it's very nice despite its faults.

Cortado Throw

The yarn in this kit did not work for me, the Ferris Wheel being much thinner than Vannas Choice producing a lop sided square. So I took my 5 balls of Morning Java, added 3 skeins of Mandala Centaur and am making the Mesa Ripple blanket. (Photo). Now if I can find a self striping yarn with colors similar to Morning Java and the correct weight, I can make the Cortado Throw. Win-Win

Worked well with Heartland

I used Ferris Wheel Buttercup with Heartland Acadia to make the Tunisian crochet scarf in the photo. The colors were beautiful. The words "dusty" and "muted" come to mind. The yarn was consistent throughout the 2 skeins I've already used. I found no knots. I did have a bit of a challenge pulling from the center on one of the skeins and had to make a handmade center pull ball with the bunch that pulled out of the center. Not a problem for me, though.

This yarn was a bit finer than the Heartland which I thought lent the project a better texture because the squares look more inset with the yarns having a bit of a different size and the front post stitch used in the pattern.

I had to frog my first scarf as I had made it too wide. As well, it was my first Tunisian crochet project ever and I had to work out my tension and rhythm. The frogging wasn't too bad with this yarn. I just had to carefully separate the stitches where the fibers didn't want to separate. It didn't affect the overall texture of the yarn, though, and I will reuse the yarn from the first attempt at this project.

I will buy this yarn again as I intend to make more of these scarves for gifting this Christmas.
