Another very disappointing pattern

I made the Falmouth Shrug using Lion Brand yarn Country. It was 6 inches shorter than the instructions indicated although I used size 11 circular needles. It did not look anything like the picture. This was extremely disappointing. This not the first time that I have been unsuccessful with your patterns. I am not a novice knitter and have been successful with other companies patterns. I am concerned about using your patterns in the future. I tore the project apart and will try to reuse the Country yarn for another project since the yarn was very nice to work with and most attractive. It's unfortunate that I have had problems with your patterns.
