Have you heard of temperature blankets? They’re a great way to make memories and document your year in yarn! Every day for a year you will crochet 1 row using the color that corresponds to the day’s high temperature in your area. This fun project is beginner friendly and uses only single crochet stitches! We’ve selected colors, paired them with a temperature range (see main image), and provided the suggested yarn amounts below. Feel free to alter your colors (see pattern for a “nearly neutrals” option) and select more of the colors that correspond with your area’s climate. When crocheting at the recommended gauge each ball of Schitt’s Creek Yarn will give you approximately 27 days of rows in that temperature range. For example, 1 ball of Bebe Blue stitches up into 27 days of the temperature range 33 – 43 degrees F.

I love these colors and this collection so much! I’m just now getting my order and starting on my blanket so I’m a bit behind. Can’t wait to start up!

Love this!

Really enjoying making this blanket. It is such fun to add a new row each day. It is only January 25th and I have already used four colors. This will definitely become an annual blanket.

I am just in the organizing part of my project. I plan to start on January 1st.

I received the yarn in the mail and I like the feel of the yarn. I plan to make a Temperature Blanket so, I will wait until January 1st to start the blanket and use the yarn.

Pretty yarn, but took a month to arrive

The yarn is really pretty and soft. It took a month to get to me, so I had to return it...there was no way I could catch up. I'll order much earlier next year 😌

Hello Emily - our apologies for the delayed shipping on your order!

Well, I am wishing my life away. I just can't wait until the next day to see the temperature and which color I should use. I am enjoying each day! Great fun.
