The pattern instructions are very clear and concise. The Tweed Stripes yarn is very nice to crochet with and glides off of the hook effortlessly. The color pattern that this yarn produces is beautiful! I will be using this yarn for future crochet and knitting projects.
I finished this crochet pattern using Lion Brand Tweed Stripes in Caramel on 01/23/2017, which I made for my mother. She loves it. I used 5 1/2 skeins of yarn instead of the five called for in the pattern since I do crochet tight. I used a size K Brittany bamboo hook which the yarn just slid off of. I plan on making this item again in another color as I love the way the striping in the yarn forms a beautiful striping pattern.
I have made several ponchos over the years using this pattern. My granddaughters keep requesting them in different colors! This is a very easy pattern. I prefer Homespun for this style. Grandma even made herself one and I always get compliments.
I used Scarfie to make this pattern and it came out very nice. It makes up into a wider shaded stripe. I made it slightly larger (an inch or inch & half) than the measurements and it looks good on a size 16 woman. I am planning to use pattern again using Tweed Stripes too.
