I love the texture and color

I'm starting to crochet. Pretty easy instructions. I'm only worried that I'm doing it right. I chained the stitches that I need for my size but the fabric is getting a little bit wider than the foundation chain. I wonder if that is normal. I'm excited with this pattern.

Hi Jen - it could be that as you're getting used to the pattern and relaxing your stitches are getting a little bit looser. We'd suggest making another gauge swatch and checking that you're still on track to match the blocked pattern gauge, or if you need to adjust the hook size now that you've gotten into the groove. Alternatively, it could be that your beginning chain was a little too tight (it happens to the best of us!) and you might want to try starting with a larger hook size just for the chain.

It’s a hit!

I made 3 sweaters in 3 weeks, in 3 different sizes. It is an easy pattern. I’ve never made sweaters for others before nor have I used this yarn before. Beautiful texture, and cozy softness. I’m so glad I purchased these kits!

somewhat confusing

I had a little trouble trying to make a swatch with the "V" stitch, but have moved on to the pattern and am finding it easier now.
