Lovely little bag with nice details: crab stitch edging, shell stitches in body, folded top edge held by drawstring. All around nice project I completed in a day for an 11 yo granddaughter. I did use Soft and Simple yarn for a beautifully soft feel, a 4 mm hook, and I did a simple ch/sc drawstring rather than I-cord. Very happy with results for a great pattern from All About Ami.
The pattern was easy to follow and the bag is adorable. I love Stephanie’s patterns!

This is the cutest little bag I have crocheted. At first I was not enthusiastic about working in the round, but Stephanie's directions are so clear and easy to follow that I didn't have any problems. Cotton yarn is a great choice for this bag, I had to keep my stitching tight too. Next, I will try the cording yarn with this pattern, I bet it will turn out great.
Just finished my first purse. Excited to get to use it soon. I love the pattern for the bag. I did use a different crocheted strap, I found I didn’t have the patience for the strap pattern included with the bag. But I am definitely going to try the strap again.
Easy to follow directions. Lovely yarn. Worked up easier than I expected and very happy with the results. Will make more bags soon.
