Easy pattern

I was going to make one, but ended up making 2 with plans for 2 more. Pattern is well written, easy to understand and easy to complete. Sewing isn’t my strong suit, but it did not take too long to get out my machine and sew the insert. I did hand sew the lining into the bag bc my machine is a 1940’s Singer Featherweight and wouldn’t have been able to sew through the crochet part without breaking the needle. Bags turned out so lovely. I did not want to add a zipper, but wanted to have a more secure closure , so I crocheted a flap in pattern to close with buttons. Highly recommend!
