It came out nice. I didn't have a 4.25 hook, used a 4mm and didn't meet gauge. I had plenty of yarn to add an additional row to each of the granny squares, infact there was still left over yarn when I was done.
I made the bag and I’ve lined the bag, I haven’t made the straps yet but this bag is really beautiful, was a fun and fast project. My only thing is… the pictures that accompany the pattern the bag looks bigger, I’m a big bag girl and in my opinion this bag didn’t work up to be a big bag, maybe the ones shown in the pics are really stretched why it looks so big. After I put the straps on I’m going to give this one to my mom and change to a larger hook and try again to make it bigger. Love this bag though.

my first time buying a kit and it’s been a great experience! i loved 24/7 cotton already so this bag was a perfect match. loved being able to choose which colors i wanted, and the kit makes it super easy to know how much yarn you’ll need for the project. the pattern was also super easy to follow, i definitely recommend!
