Beautiful Lacy Shawl

This pattern is exactly what I was looking for. It works up into a light, scrunchy wrap that covers my shoulders, back and arms.
The double crochet is worked in V stitches and shells, so it goes quickly. It's a 4-row repeat because the beginning and ending of each row are slightly different in order to create a straight edge. Otherwise, it's just alternating V stitches and 7-stitch shells on the first row, then the return row is V-stitches and 5 separate stitches over each shell.
I bought the kit because I loved the warm autumnal colors in the picture. I used 3 skeins of Ferris Wheel yarn and it came out wider than 18 inches, which I liked! No splitting and the hook size is spot on for the yarn weight.
I love my new shawl! It's perfect for our vacation in the mountains.

Beautiful Project

With this project, I was slightly challenged, but the payoff was so worth it once I figured out the pattern. It’s a logical sequence of clusters, and once you can see that take shape, it’s easy.

The final project was gorgeous, even more so after blocking it to show off the stitches. I smile every time I look at it!

Yarn was easy to work with.

Beautiful crochet pattern

This pattern was a bit challenging for as I normally just go for the easy patterns. However, I was intrigued and wanted to try something more challenging. I am currently working on the shawl patterns in a solid color and it's working up beautifully. Can't wait to finish this so I can get started on the same pattern in the Ferris Wheel yarn.

Beautiful

This is a beautiful wrap. I think I will make another possibly a little taller. I absolutely love the yarn for this project also. I have used Ferris Wheel for other projects and always overlooked this colorway(Cherry on Top) . But seeing it in this wrap made me see how pretty it is. The designer made a great choice.
