Warning: very difficult yarn to work with

I fell in love with this vest when I viewed it and bought the kit right away. The furry yarn makes it impossible to see your stitches. I emailed the designer asking for help. She kindly emailed back saying you have to "feel" the stitches.
I will try working it again soon but I am not liking having to feel my stitches and constantly focusing on it and seeing it. I like to flow with my crochet projects, that is what makes them relaxing and enjoyable. This is NOT a relaxing project. I wish would return it.

Hi Roberta - we're sorry this kit didn't work out for you! the fuzzy texture of the yarn does mean that the stitches can be hard to see, and so feeling for the opening below the top of the stitch can be the easiest way to work with this yarn. We also recommend using stitch markers so you aren't accidentally gaining or losing stitches - definitely use them at the ends of the row, but you can also place them every 5 or 10 sts across to help keep the stitch count consistent.
