Loved the pattern

I loved the pattern for the bag...it was simple and easy to follow. What I didn't love was the hook, it was difficult for me to use with the Vanna's Choice yarn, which I also didn't like. The yarn that came with the kit was rough and scratchy and not at all fun to work with. I ended up switching from the bamboo hook I ordered with the kit (which was hard to push through the stitches and split the yarn like crazy) to a metal hook which worked much, much better.

I like Vanna's Choice yarns;\. I changed the brown to a gray, and it's darker than I thought it would be. I'm having a difficult time getting the square to be square; it turned out to be a rectangle. I had to change hook size, work on the gauge swatch, and add 2 stitches to the width. It's going to be a cute bag, if I can ever get the square to be a square.
